Whimsy in the Garden

For a light and entertaining keynote presentation that appeals to a broad audience, let Barb share her insights into unique garden creativity utilizing an outstanding color slide show. The subject of a full-page feature in the La Crosse Tribune, she'll show you how she transformed a woodland bluff into a floral masterpiece that is a profusion of color from spring through fall. Barb has also authored a garden article for Coulee Region Women and conducted several garden tours and presentations. In 2008, Barb's garden was featured on the Holmen Area Garden tour visited by over 200 people. Barb has been perennial gardening for over 20 years, incorporating more 200 perennials into her country gardens, featuring more than 80 varieties of hostas into her shade gardens. She also has a unique collection of antique watering cans, floral tins, etc. that decorate her custom made potting shed, and incorporates a variety of primitives into her gardens creating a “whimsical” look fun for all.
